I got one about student loans, and I never had a student loan in my life. I stayed on the phone, this lady who must have been eating butter came on after the robo voice, I told her I have never had a student loan in my life, that I wanted to get off their list. She says one moment, then the call disconnects. I called the number back and the poor person at the other end of the line had no Idea what I was talking about.
I’ve been told that there are 4 charges “pressed” against my name and the local “cops” will come ans arrest me if I don’t reply to the phone call. I have been waiting for the “cops” for a couple years now and they have yet to show up. I’ve even baked them a cake in anticipation of some company, but nothing.
Said this before: I hide my caller id, call them back. if someone answers or if asked to leave a message, I play them that old Freddie Fender song “Wasted Days and Wasted Nights.” It’s amazing how many of those callers don’t ever call back. Also, I got a call showing my on id as the caller. So, I blocked my id from making calls to me, if that makes any sense. It hasn’t happen any more.

I don’t blame you. I don’t answer anymore unless I know who is calling. Probably missed some important calls unwittingly
