Student loans are a tool of the devil. I will never let my daughter go through what I went through paying that ridiculousness off. She’s only eight, so I’m hoping there will be some meaningful change in the next ten years.
Oh good, they finally got that first grader to update everything. As for your loan, I hope you got everything paid off. The only thing I ever use now is cash. No credit cards.

THEY don’t care about circumstances
My wife had a student loan and was going to school for veterinary
Her infant daughter was diagnosed with a rare cancer and she had to drop out of school
30 years of care for a severely handicapped daughter hasn’t placed paying off that loan very high on the priority ladder
THEY have taken our federal tax return ever since my wife and I married, at that rate it MIGHT get paid of I I keep working another 40 years
Hope THEY aren’t holding their breath, I’m 56
