we took a foam flower pot, cut one side to slide onto the pole and secured it to keep the squirrels off the bird feeder and it has worked 100%. Our feeder is attached to a Tpost (fence post) so it just sits on that area. Put a Slinky on the post, keeps them off also.

I did that once. Then saw a squirrel make a leap for the pole and slide down to the bottom. I think he had a “what the hell” look on his face.

It won’t help with that feeder. It’s just a short jump from the ground.

How about WD-40?

How are you going to stop the birds reaching the squirrel feeder?

WD-40 claims that their spray does very well; that the squirrels won’t be able to climb the pole.

Pole baffles work like a charm. Don’t spend $40 on one. Go to Walmart or Lowes and pay $12 or less.
As to Max’s issue, the squirrels will be busy running around the liquid pools left across the yard.

Apparently wrapping a Slinky around the pole works as well too.

Let the squires alone. They are fun to watch.

I read spray your snow shovel with cooking spray to keep snow from sticking. It works, but Moxie wants to eat the snow.

When it gets cold enough, spray water on the post. Squirrels just keep sliding back down.
