Gaia, Pan, Mother Nature all are the House of Life from which that axis mundi all life grows. Humans are aberrant in that we can ignore nature, ignore cause-&-effect and effectively wipe our own selves out. We are better at destruction than harmony. We put the blade at our own throat and dares Nature to push it.
That’s the way my yard is: I have almost all oak trees. All green (some are still with green leaves) and then a good storm comes along and they seem to turn and all fall at once. The acorns are more paced: they fall on the roof: BAM! Bop bop bop.
