Porter Cable makes some low end tools these days. They used to be good, but they have gone downhill. I bought a small vac with their name on it at Costco for $25 a few months ago, thinking I got a bargain. Built very cheap. I bought a Porter Cable oscillating sander about 3 years ago. This year it broke, and it had only run about a hundred hours since it was new.

A very expensive power tool, Betty. Well made, but expensive.

But why is Bub surprised that someone’s comment is accurate?

I get that Betty doesn’t know what Porter Cable means, but why is Bub surprised that someone’s comment is accurate?
