Toys r us was a victim of the industrial toy complex. The rows were divided into competing toy systems. They didn’t have a single bin of balls for the kids and dog to chase in the back yard.
My middle son once got a runny nose. Blowing didn’t seem to help, so I took a peek – then grabbed the tweezers & removed the chunk of Nerf ball he’d shoved up there.
And BTW, his son now has one bedroom wall covered with a pegboard that holds at least 35 different Nerf guns (which, i gotta say, are a lot of fun…..)

Scott sure is late to the party. They were primarily a weapons manufacturer by the early ’90s.
