My mother grew tiny hot peppers and ate them like candy. And she thought Heaven would be boring, so I imagine that she tossed the invitation to Heaven and went to where her friends were. No problem for her.
Have you tried the suicidal hots at the place Buffalo wings were invented? I have. Definitely need a warning label. And I can’t eat those anymore. One bite and I’ll have heartburn.
English lacks the distinction between thermal and spicy heat. Probably because northern European diet was so bland for so long. Spanish distinguishes caliente and picante.
