I had hoped to see Walt and Skeezix looking back over the past 100 years with gratitude for family and friends and all the blessings of their lives on this Thanksgiving Day. … Allow me to imagine they are doing exactly that. As am I.

Well, I was wrong on Sunday — we did NOT get a variation of that strip today.

I seem to remember that in Sam & Silo there was a notice posted at the Retired Comic Strips Characters Home that stated “Pies are for eating, not throwing.”

This impasse can end quickly if Ignatz Mouse steps in with a brick.

Every time I read a strip, I read it that Jim is just having a blast creating it. As a result, I’m just having fun being along for the ride.

And here I was going to say that I was thankful nobody was throwing tomatoes at me.
