I actually saw my next door neighbor’s kid doing this. I had a debate between my child self and adult self over whether to go next door and let the parents know. Adult self won out.
This one reminds me of another “C&H” strip where Mom keeps telling Calvin he has to take a bath, but she can’t find him. Then the last panel shows Calvin saying “She’ll never find me here”, while he’s lying in the bathtub. Fun stuff.
