    Technically that’s true of anything.

Life is aesthetics, and frankly not a lot more.

Is it me or does this new Nancy have a chip on her shoulder. What happened to the sweet little girl? Even her logo picture looks rebellious. She also looks plumper.

By an odd coincidence, I cleaned up my workbench this morning…https://ogrforum.ogaugerr.com/topic/under-the-hood-time-to-tidy-up

My question is – did Nancy throw away all her toys because she was tired of them and wants new ones for Christmas? Or did she actually clean up her room and put away her stuff so Aunt Ritzi wouldn’t get tired of seeing them everywhere and throw them away?

My mom only had to threaten this one time in my life. She kept telling me to clean my room and I kept ignoring her for days. On the 3 day or so, she said, “If these toys aren’t picked up by tomorrow evening, I will throw away every single toy still on the floor.” Sure enough I called her bluff and by that evening my room was spotless but yet, my toys…the ones on the floor were no where to be found. Mom told me, “I said I would toss them.” I panicked and ran to the trash can which was already out on the curb as pick up day was the next day. Luckily (actually, she told me later in life it was on purpose) she placed them all on the very top of the trash bag so they were easy to grab and they didn’t get soiled. That was the very last time I called her bluff about such things.

Same thing happened to my brother years later. He too learned very quickly and never called her bluff again. When mom says, “Clean your room!” It was done by that night.
