I had two chows who ate from a two sided dish. They were sisters from the same litter. They would never eat from separate dishes. Also they both always tried jumping into my arms at the same time. Approximately sixty pounds times two. Like my helper dog I rarely went anywhere without them. Like people they sometimes have their own way with each other.
I had an indeterminate mixed breed larger dog at the same time I had 2 mini dachshund puppies. The big gal would not eat a single bite (out of her own separate bowl) until the dachsies were finished eating. When they were full-grown, then she would eat at the same time. Dogs are funny!

Sheela has taken to eating Honey’s food. Honey is too nice to eat Sheela’s, unless I put the bowl down in front of Honey.

My Husky will move her bowl if I server her where she doesn’t want to be served, the other two just go to scarf city.
