What did (casually dressed) Calvin say one Halloween what he was? It might’ve been a lengthy description, but he got candy anyway.

Truth is elusive and always has been. Although we now have multiple sources with different perspectives that can help one distill that truth, many choose to stay only with the source that reinforces their preconceptions of how they want it to be.

What is important is everyone getting their news through the same filter, what actually happened is secondary.

Our social network algorithms tend to show us news that agrees with other articles that we have spent time on. The idea that we are getting a balanced view is imaginary. They keep offering us more and more what proves our own ideas correct. It makes us feel good and powerful. We seldom get to see or hear the other real side.

This actually covers a lot of people on both sides of the aisle. It’s tough even finding unbiased and accurate news these days.

The ONLY person who has been talking about Russia is trump with his daily No Collusion and witch hunt cries. In the 16 months since Mueller started he has said NOTHING but has gotten GUILTY pleas from trump’s campaign managers and personal lawyer.

Donald Trump, OUR President, has been “dictator” for 649 days and liberal media has been predicting his ouster for 728 days! There is that…

Rat never said what he watched or did not watch, every one is projecting their own bias onto rats comments. Plus it’s Halloween, it’s a character/costume. I going to dress like Doctor Who tonight, but I can’t time travel.

I stopped watching domestically produced national news. Too much hype and opinion disguised and presented as ‘news’. I THINK I’m still able to get relatively unbiased U.S. news from outside entities like the B.B.C. and Reuters.

That’s not necessarily a logical assumption. CNN is really no better.

I miss the old days when the news just told the events of what’s happening without the speculation or spin on either side. Just the facts. I’m smart enough to make up my own mind. If the news outlets did this there would be less hate.

I think we need to have a congressional inquiry into who “Neighbor Beard” really is! Never seen before. New to neighborhood. Suspicious character. Maybe wearing cheap disguise.

Gangster on the run? Witness Protection Program witness? Comics Curmudgeon?
