Happy “Chocolate On Sale Everywhere” Day

It was raining, so we only got about 20 kids.

I got my usual zero.

Is Rover looking for a place they can rest, maybe under a tree?

My dad was a janitor at an elementary school, and had to deal with the aftermath of high candy consumption. He sees sugar has having much the same effect as a dangerous drug, only it’s one given to children.

We got about 30 ourselves – including 1 adult but he was dressed up as a clown…so go figure.

I’ve always thought these epic sugar highs and sugar crashes were just myths; at least I never noticed them. (Well, I’ve noticed getting a pick-me-up from sugar, but that’s starting from zero, not a post-sugar let-down.)
