Tiny glimmer of hope that Google and Amazon don’t know everything. Yet

What do you mean ‘if’? …and Google is offering a much ‘better’ coffee maker than the one you just got.

Love laughing at people who get upset at Google tracking their interests. Ignore it or better yet go off line.

Ages ago, back when Help searches in Microsoft products still took you directly to Microsoft’s own documentation, I was trying to figure out how to do something simple in MS Word and Help kept telling me how to do everything BUT what I was trying to do. I finally got so frustrated, I typed “Fuque Bill Gates” (not exactly that text) into the search bar. Help’s reply:

    “See Microsoft Support”

I bought an item at Target and used my credit card to pay. Soon I started getting ads on my PC for that same item. Scary, and annoying.

I get a notice to update. I bite. They tell me my computer is too old for the update. But they keep sending me the notice, usually when I am trying to correct computer problems or transferring data from one site to another.
