I’ve never smoked and loathe it as a habit. Still, perhaps in the life to come it wouldn’t be harmful or annoying. I can imagine Tollers, Jack, and sundry others (Chesterton! Sayers!) having a puff over some deep discussion.

And even in heaven the idiots litter with the butts.

Why does it matter? Isn’t everyone in heaven already dead?
