You know how you can finally fix this? Pay these athletes a stipend for their expenses at college that their scholarships/financial aid can’t cover. It’s time the NCAA stops being stubborn about this and do it.
Until the NCAA has subpoena power, nothing is going to change. The runners/agents will continue to run unabated and flaunt the many loopholes present. One loophole closes, another opens. I always fine it rich that one of the biggest operatives, Sonny Vaccaro, from the past is now one of the “good guys.”

As they ever have, and always will.

And I think that the influence of money is even worse in college football.

You know how to fix this? Eliminate the collegiate pro sports like basketball and football, maybe hockey. The big money sports. Only way.

Why does anyone care if the players are paid? The colleges use & abuse them, while making billions from March Madness!

The league and coaches are paid 7 and 8 digit salaries. Could they afford that kind of a payroll if they paid the players?

When these guys get to the NBA they can say, “Hey, I’m a Free Agent, I’ve been collecting a salary for four years!”
