You’re…drawn to comics?

I’d read that!

How about this? Draw the Superhero Mermaids on Sunday. They can fight all sorts of evil villains. Maybe even some evil sprites.

You could take on the job of being the mystery woman behind “Nancy”.

OK. I want to see the mermaid superhero assassins comic!!

I just love that you have the kid version of yourself show up! It’s very clever.

Amanda, I feel your pain. My drawing skills are pathetic (but improving slightly thanks to a commitment to #Inktober!) but I’ve always had a way with words. I’ve BSed my way through a lot of crap in life, and my vocabulary is extensive.

So why is it, when I sit down to write, my mind emulates the blank page or screen, instead of the other way around? This is the UNIVERSE trying to crush our creative GENIUS! Don’t let it win!

And when you figure out how to beat it, let me know? My history blog is driving me nuts!

Oh, yeah, and I’d love to see the mermaid superhero assassin comic, too! It sounds great.

That would be me. I’ve been writing the next great American novel for the last sixty years and haven’t gotten past page one.

If there isn’t a comic strip about mermaid superheroes, there certainly should be.
