I once had to work solo from 3 pm till midnight and then 6 am till 10 pm the next day. Oddly, it did not allow much time for engaging in creative nomenclature, since I was, you know, working.
I once came off a 5 day run of “owl” shifts (12-8am) and then immediately started a 5 day run of evening shifts (4pm-12am) so 8 hours off. It was murder. Good thing they comped me time off.

Well, it’s better than working an opening shift, then a closing shift. On the same day.

Is he doing it with a 2 hour commute each way? That gives you a time for a 2 hour nap, shower, and coffee.
