Point of clarification needed by me, please… in this instance, are we to assume that Nancy took the headphones back and heard the tail-end of the commercial? Or, would whatever service Nancy uses display the commercial on the screen as well as in audio?
When I listen to Pandora, the ads are fairly brief, so my first idea (Nancy taking the headphones back quickly) seems not workable… and at least for how Pandora operates on my system, I do not see any pictoral ad.

Regardless…. poor Sluggo! Nancy will be angry and not talk to him for quite a long time, I bet. :) Yet, sometimes when the grumpy person is being unreasonable… the lack of talking may be a blessing in disguise, I guess.
