I find it hard to believe that electric kettles can cause a power surge most of them draw less wattage than the average lamp, and are only on for long enough to boil the water, (approx 7 – 10 minutes based on the one I have)
On the other hand if British television follows the same type of broadcast procedures as American network television does, the power company employees will be adjusting the power output approximately every 15 minutes
I seem to remember a study from the 80’s where they showed that pink was the most calming and soothing color and they were experimenting with using it in a prison setting. Can’t say I recall pink being used to effect in other places though.
. . . I don’t care, what color the dang seats are! I DO care, how close the seats are for sufficient space for my legs and on both sides of seats. Heck now, they are messing with the space in the restrooms! Unforgivable! :p https://www.latimes.com/business/la-fi-airplane-bathrooms-smaller-20180710-story.html

I am sure there are some blue airplane seats, but I can’t ever remember being in one.

What’s so calming about blue? (Nothing sure will deter a Brit from having their tea.)

I don’t think William Shatner would’ve been calmed by blue seats.
if you recognize the scene, you know what I’m referring to.

That looks like a scene from a Twilight Zone episode starring William Shatner.

No seat color in the world would calm me if Patti LaBelle appeared outside my airplane window like that.

Great use of a scene from Twilight Zone. Good job on that one, Ripley!

Hospital operating rooms and surgical scrubs are blue for the same reason—it doesn’t work, take my word for it!

In America they prepare for millions of refrigerator lights and microwaves coming during commercials

Thanks for the picture of one of the best Twilight Zone’s. Amazing how many actors on TZ became really big names.

The 2011 USAF Superbowl flyover was another gross waste of U.S. tax payer money since the roof was closed. Drain the swamp!

Not the Air Force’s fault that the idiots in the stadium forgot to open the roof.

Packers defeated the Steelers by the score of 31–25 the first time the Super Bowl was played in the Dallas–Fort Worth
