Natalie…? Why don’t I know a Natalie in this strip?
I could swear that I’ve read some stuff that came before this “beginning” that we just started over with….
wish I could remember more details.
I don’t know whether we just haven’t seen that part yet, because it’s going to come later, as a flashback,
Or maybe the story started earlier on Comics.com.
That’s where I started reading Jane, before it merged with GoComics….
and I guess it’s possible that the first part of the archives was never brought over.
OR I read it in a Jane book…but I don’t have many.
In any case… I believe this arc happens before Jane worked at the newspaper….
and Natalie is her coworker at a convenience store, called something like Quikee Mart.
