I’m trying to remember the arc….
I think something just happened in the desert that gave Jane a charge of static electricity….
but it was before the strip that we just started with.
I read it someplace…. but I can’t remember whether it’s about to be shown as a flashback, or I actually read it first, on Comics.com or in a Jane book.
I’m vaguely remembering Ethan driving out to the desert to bring Jane home….
Is there another long-time reader here who remembers it better?
These strips are from 2002…. and I started reading the strip in 2006 when I discovered Comics.com…. then I went back and read from the beginning of the archive there.
But in the last dozen years there have been flashbacks and repeats and loop the loops, including a looong rerun to let GoComics readers catch up after the merger.
It means not everything is sequential in my mind.

Yeah, after research, I believe four years worth were done before this panel. Maybe Go Comics doesn’t have the early stuff.

Yeah… I did my own research, and I’d say you’re right…… in fact, I’d planned to mention it next time I posted here.
April 1st, 2002, when we rebooted, was 16 and a half years ago.
The four missing years, or possibly three and a half, became obvious to me yesterday,
when I finally noticed, right below the comments, a link to purchase the 20th Anniversary Anthology of Jane’s World.
LOL … I’m not the world’s most observant person.
Anyway, the question remains… where did I (or we?) read that adventure?
Even on the old site…. I don’t recall the archives going all the way back to 1998… I would have read 8 years of them.
Probably it was in one of the switchbacks or flashbacks that occurred over the years.
I think I’ll check out the price of that anthology.
