And still they’re in the dark about why he “had to leave” his old school. Wouldn’t that be in the records that were sent to Milford when he transferred? Actually, in p3 it looks like Tiki’s the one in the dark.
Gil is still hesitant to play Tiki “partly — and unfairly — because [he’s] turned out to be a good player”. Read this 3 times and still don’t get it. If he was biased by the fact Tiki is a good player, wouldn’t that make him MORE likely to play him? Why does him being a “good player” make him “hesitant”?
So that’s how it works? As long as the principal signs off on it, you don’t have to live in the district? That explains how Milford gets so many star transfers.
In all reality , so Tiki hasn’t always been a good person , why tell Gil ? The only person who cares is Santa Clause whose keeping a list of whose been naughty or nice .
The Fist Pump Family is Tiki’s booster sponsor. GilPa has put Tiki in a corner. Beau Dandy will not be invited to Thanksgiving dinner on the dark side of town.
I think his father ia an industrial solvent salesman who had a little accident and social media forced him to transfer to a school that has not discovered Facebook yet.

P1, So Dr. Pearl can take the blame when the Mudlarks have to forfeit every game Tiki played in.
P2, And we’ll have none of those here at Milford.
P3, Good people are a dime a dozen, good defensive backs, however, are hard to come by, Tiki.

Hard to make out Tiki in P3 as it’s so dark – if only there was some kind of light source, you could call it a Tiki torch

P3 – Tiki auditioning to be adopted by the Fist Pump family. He’s got the shade down, but not the enthusiasm.
