It’s Alive & it eats kids!

25 years from now, Dill’s career in urban planning goes in a rather strange and unexpected (except by Alice) direction.

When he’s stuck the yelling will echo for hours.

Nah, he’ll still drive. His car will fit in the tubes.

Somewhere, deep in its recesses, lies the City of Lost Children…

Isn’t Los Angeles already a jungle gym?

Dill, inside the jungle gym: “Who are you?” Stranger: “I’m Jimmy Hoffa, and this is Amelia Earhart. How do we get out of here?”

Enter that Jungle Jim and you’ll be lost forever!

If that happens, you will never get Petey to go outside again.

Oh yes and Alice will be in charge of the Environmental Impact bureaucracy he has to mollify.

These identical “Jungle Jim”’s appeared all over the world and are all growing. Left by beings malevolent and sneaky. By the use of sophisticated technology based upon the ability to stack atoms, create molecules of any type. They are growing and subtly they will expand and continue till their program is stopped or it begins to consume others should they meet. It is never ending. Wrecking them is futile as they will repair using the weapons that did the damage! The alien beings have long lives and long range plans.

They did not like the selections on that golden record we sent into deep space.
