I’m a morning person. my wife is not. a few years ago we went to Seatle on holiday. the first day she hadn’t adjusted to the time zone so we were up early and out. when we stopped for lunch she said ‘wow you get a lot done when you’re out early." I said “welcome to my world.”
I was up that time this morning and was unexpectedly treated to the sight of Venus so bright that I thought it was an airplane coming in for a landing (we live on a flight path to O’Hare). Absolutely BEAUTIFUL! And I would’ve missed it in another couple of hours. During the summer I like the time when it’s light enough to see but the sun hasn’t cracked the horizon yet. There are no shadows and there is an odd and complete silence in the world – as if the sun brings its own soundtrack with it. Magical!
Feel sorry for all the newscasters who have to get up very early to broadcast the early morning news. And they take it all back when you realize they make thousands and millions of dollars to do so.

you just had to volunteer yourself to be Lucy’s skating partner, didn’t you, Snoopy?

I have to get up at 4 AM for work at least three days a week… it may be good for you, but it’s been dreadful for me!

Don’t worry Snoopy. The Northern Lights might be out and show you a beautiful landscape to skate in.

You get used to it, though. The drawback is that by 2pm your energy is waning….and by 7:30pm, you are wondering how soon you can go to bed. LOL

I woke up at 5 due to one of the side affects of hydrochlorothiazide.

Wait, how does Lucy KNOW he’s complaining? To her, all Snoopy would be doing is trudging along behind her while tired…

This dedication is actually a good side of Lucy.

If nothing else, I have to applaud her dedication!

If you fail in the show, it will surely be Lucy’s fault, or stage fright.

“Stop complaining”? Since when can Lucy hear thought balloons? Is she telepathic now?

I feel your pain Snoopy. I’m not an early morning person.

There’s no such thing as five o’clock in the morning.

At least she isn’t making you chase rabbits this early in the morning, Snoopy!
