In my day the parents gave each child a different coloured pen to mark the Montgomery Ward Catalogue. Not that they ever looked at it, because they didn’t. Then we tried writing out lists of our top 10. You could count on getting things that were just about exactly what you hadn’t asked for.
It could be worse Sally, I had two sarcastic older brothers with warped senses of humor as well as an older sister, younger sister and two parents – all with warped senses of humor. Christmas could be quite cruel at our house.
