We needed to fly with our cat when we moved several times. There was a (substantial) fee, we had to purchase a specific (over-priced) under-seat carrier, and the regulations only allowed a set number of animals in the cabin. Vet supplied pet tranquilizers were also involved. Wish today’s ESA era was the case back then!

What I hear is the airlines are not allowing rodents as support animals. Miniature horses? Yes, rodents? No.
