In most families, the son (Clayton) would have been the one to swallow the pill and dad would be saying, relax it’ll be okay… of course they aren’t most families.
Found out recently that the Poison Control Center has a website that you can access by mobile or on your desktop/laptop/tablet: https://triage.webpoisoncontrol.org/#/
Make sure you understand, this is NOT a 911 center so they can’t send an ambulance to your home but they can help you determine if you should call 911 or go see a doctor.
I also recommend putting their phone number 1-800-222-1222 on your phone and select it as a “favorite” so it shows up on your main contact screen so you don’t have to scroll through your whole contacts list looking for it. I have the link saved to my browser (on my bookmark bar) and also the phone number readily available on my phone for just in case. I mean, I’m a mom and pet owner so I never know if I’ll need it.
Don’t know about dog meds in humans (other than the flea and tick shampoo saying “Keep out of eyes” when mine ran out), but one of the docs I work for once put his dog in the vet ICU by giving it a human NSAID (I think ibuprofen, but not certain).

Odd way to start the week. I guess we can assume the jet engine is history.

Adam’s a bit overdramatic, as usual.

Oh don’t worry, just circle the couch a few times before you lie down and nap it off!

But if by Wednesday, we see Adam half naked skidding across the living room floor, I’M OUTTA HERE.

Oh please… Wash it down with a Doc’s coffee.

They better hurry before Adam is on all fours eating the dog’s dinner. mmmmm gravy.

Well at least Adam will be protected against fleas and heartworms for the next 30 days

So he ate a pill designed for a 30 pound dog. I don’t think there is enough medicine in there to negatively affect someone of Adam’s size.

It could just be Rimadyl, which is just a prescription strength NSAID for dogs. No worse than Motrin.
