It is a Thanksgiving gathering, Hubbs. No one sees that, ever.

Going to guess that she thinks Ellie is lesbian. Not sure if the same extends to hubbs, but going to be a fun story.

I’m noticing that Sedine is saying El and not Al. Either she’s slipping or she’s spilling the beans about “Al” in this arc.

Oblivious Ellie and clueless Hubbs are such a great couple. Sam’s parents’ assumptions are false, yet their acceptance so very genuine. Sedine’s mother only sees “strange,” which displeases her. If Sedine is a savvy hostess, she will serve up the feast as soon as possible. Nothing quiets down a gathering like the passing around of tasty dishes. Hubbs will want to watch the ballgame and talk strategy with “El.” What if she tries to cuddle?

No, I think she sees something else.
