Kids of your own, Chic, and subordinates to boss around if you get a managerial job when you grow up.
Now we’re getting to see a little bit of this colony. Well-lit corridors, a pharmacy (which suggests that they have supplies to care for/support the residents), a busy and active population but not overcrowded.
Unity killed itself with its dysfunctional mindset, Endtown has an oppressively dictatorial leadership with darker undertones I still haven’t figured out yet, and we’ve seen the ruins of other failed colonies that were either destroyed from within or without. Is this one balanced and successful, or is there a flaw in this one too? Waiting to hear what the colony’s name is; for now I’ve nicknamed it “Oceanside”.
Seems like real life teeters between Endtown and Eden. Either something will ruin Eden or they are off traveling having either fun or misery, or in real life; both.
Chic was only 4 years old when we met him, he is almost to Wally’s shoulder and acts about 8 or 9. So We have missed about 4-5 years of them finding and settling in Eden. Kirby must have been making his clothes from the patterned after his 1st outfit because his original outfit would be in tatters and too small by now. Anyone else think so?
I don’t know why, but I am half-expecting Chic’s real mom to turn up here as well.
Considering what Chic had to endure in Unity, I can’t blame him for not liking to be bossed around. And while his father was horrible to him (he tried to kill the boy, after all!), his mother loved him. She stood up to her husband on his behalf, and when she realized how her husband had Chic gassed in the tunnels, well… it’s safe to say the Chief got the worst of it.
I want to believe that the Queen had decided to take the children and leave before Unity was destroyed. Perhaps it’s a shot in the dark, but it could be possible. And it would make for an interesting twist.
Sons of Brahmin caste and royal aristocracy are born to boss, especially if they are incompetent dunces. The less competent they are, the more bossy they are to cover up their stupidity. Cause and effect, now national debt is $20 trillion dollars. Get religious with states’ rights, drain the swamp, tell the Feds to disappear on a stealth bomber, and bring our troops home.

LOL!!! Yet, I’ve heard people (adults even) say: “just tell me what to do,” and you can’t.
