The last panel looks like a still from a platformer. I would say that Nancy is about to beat the boss and level up, but I’m not sure how her health is or if she has any potions.
Wow, that girl is a mean girl. She is purposefully denigrating Esther about not being in the magnet school any longer. I like that Nancy is defending Esther.
I am displeased (like Aunt Fritzi will be) that Nancy is not paying attention in history…. but her defending Esther…. very good.
Nancy’s approach kind of gives new meaning to Santayana’s quote… (phraphrased)… “Those who ignore history are bound to repeat it.” :)
