You’re fine, Lio! The “in” crowd is just a herd. You can beat your own path…

Consider yourself fully blessed, Lio.

I know I would be VERY concerned if Lio was IN the "in"crowd.

I’ve never identified with Lio more than in this comic.

(The Star vs The Moon.) As The Moon you’re ‘Out There’, an outcast. The Star however is ‘the naked truth’. The whole of the syndicated comic strip scene is one big ‘in crowd’. We all have our inner dichotomies to contend with. I usually surf from ‘Back To BC’ to ‘Lio’.

Huh, I feel the same way Lio feels. But, I’ve become accustomed to it.

Lio….don’t try to be with the “in” crowd, they’ll probably want to make you give up all the things that make you unique (and all the reasons we love reading you!)

I never have been in.

I hope i never make it there.

I was never with the “in” crowd either, and now I realize they were mostly mean kids.

Don’t worry. It does get better.

You mean I wasn’t the only kid who wasn’t in the in crowd? I take comfort in that. Maybe we all can.

As someone once sang:

Apparently in the Lio Blog, not being in the In Crowd is the In Thing.

All of us in the “out” crowd vastly outnumber the people in the “in” crowd. Take comfort in that.

I used to belong to the inn crowd; then I stopped drinking…

Let them come to you, Lio. Or not; it matters not. Do your own Thing and persist!
