Me every year now. They tell you not to drain the gas out now, due to the lead being removed from gasoline. Sno-blower, lawn mower, rototiller etc. etc.
I got paid to “FIX” non running engines.. 50 years of doing it.,,,carb’s were easy to fix….fuel injection not so easy.. or simple and just as easy to damage with old gas.
I run the gas out of my snowblower. I had gas in the leaf blower for years without a problem and it lasted for years. The thing is, the snowblower is more important and more expensive and I don’t want to take chances.

Sta-bil in the gas tank for the mower, snowblower, etc. Gas doesn’t get stale.

You are supposed to drain it/ run it dry. Or add Stabil. Or both.

Actually that always worked on my old 2 cycle snowblower.

Today it’s usually not the old gas, it’s the fact that the alcohol in the gas eats the seals in small engine carburetors.

We have an electric snow blower – solves that problem.

Or give it some Gas-X…. That’ll get rid of the gas….
