    One of Nature’s amazing coincidences that the symbol for the speed of light is “c” and that it is a constant. Imagine the confusion of they had used some other letter.

    It used to be 300,000,000 meters/second so it is slowing down in its old age. (Either that or they just got better at measuring it.)
