Don’t give up, Sparky! Make another one tomorrow! You’ve got it in you, I know it.
Either Sparky has gone to sleep, or he has gone expressionist. His model seems a bit bored, either way.
Sparky was suddenly hit by the realization that this wasn’t going to be the next Mona Lisa.
Sparky should have used a semi-gloss.
Well, back to the old drawing board.
Picasso Puppy is taking a cat nap.
And that’s what just a splash of paint will do.
Sparky got lost in the red. Reminded him of that Irish Setter over on Flacken Avenue.
The face was drawn with pencil and then a black marker…
easily held in the teeth…..
and filled in with some rather old pale pink paint, that’s gotten pretty viscous by now, and stays put.
But the red paint is another story…. fresh, shiny, drippy, bright and zestful….
it runs from his brush and rolls down the wall, challenging his doggie instincts to give chase…
maybe to bite it, dab at it with the brush, and splash in its puddle on the floor.
His head-and-shoulders-down, butt-and-wiggly-tail-up posture is a pure dog-language come-on….
“Play with me!!”
That’s one problem for dog artists…
they’re easily distracted, having the attention span of… well… cocker spaniels.
He didn’t stick the lips.
Update on the van at the end of yesterdays forum.
Good morning Sheriff.
“On the down stroke boys! A one-a, and a two-a…”
A slip of the hips sinks lips…
When did Sparky become a green dog?
Eat your heart out Banksie!!!
Dotty was told Sparky was a pointer, but she wasn’t paying attention.
I did too
