Not to mention, a major gawkee.
Better mind that low bridge up ahead there, Bob.
Well of course, I should have seen it right away. That’s Bob Moose, the former pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates. He won a World Series there in 1971 as part of a very much UNheralded pitching staff.
At least there’s no Moose Jawin’ here.
Bob had better open the roof window.

Hi everybody… just wanted to invite you all to a little BIRTHDAY Celebration
for our good friend…. STELBEL!
Please join us, and raise a glass…. on the comments page for
the Dec 6th 2018 “CLEO and COMPANY”
which is actually located on Ballard Street for Dec 6th 2008 … just use the calendar, above, or this link:
https://www.gocomics.com/ballardstreet/2008/12/06
I know Stel rarely posts here these days…
mostly working behind the scenes.
She collaborates with Nighthawks on animated strips, and produces her own work on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
In fact, one of her posters is featured on Cleo tonight…
http://www.comicssherpa.com/site/feature?uc_comic=cscwy
Because we can’t comment directly on Sherpa any more,
we post every day, actually, on Cleo by using older Ballard Street strips.
If you lose track of it, you can always come here and then go back ten years to the day….
via the calendar, or by going up to the address bar in your browser and changing, for now, the 2018 in the date to 2008.
Soon, and until we get a new home for Sherpa, (soon, I hope) that will be “change 2019 to 2009!”
Looks like a pretty spiffy car Bob’s got there…
Not sure I’d be letting my moose drive it… that is, if I HAD a moose.
Not so much his driving…. I mean, we have loads of animal drivers in Ballard County, and a great simian sheriff.
(Hi Monkey!)
My own car, Elvis, is half dog/ half car, and he does fine.
It’s just that it looks like such a well kept vehicle.. and that moose is gonna totally rip up the nice cloth headliner.
If the Highway Patrol comes by he’ll be on the horns of a dilemma.
Is that Mickey?
Bullwinkle in old age. Cute.
That’s what happens when you give a Moose a Muffin when you are a kid. They will hang around and eventually drive your car and gawk at the neighbors.
Thats Bull.
Good morning Sheriff.
i have NO idea what this is about!!!
Don’t you just hate it, when they stick their antlers out the window for fresh air???
Just don’t make sudden moves or Bob looses an eye
That moose is… leering! :)
I hope they’re not on their way to stir up trouble at the Elks Club again.
Hey, Rocky! Watch me pull a uey out of my hat.
even better than when susan takes up the whole page with a comment is when she takes up two pages with two in a row…

The strip itself is great, too…. it’s all really worth checking out, if you haven’t lately. In fact, one of her posters is featured on Cleo tonight…
