Well of course, I should have seen it right away. That’s Bob Moose, the former pitcher for the Pittsburgh Pirates. He won a World Series there in 1971 as part of a very much UNheralded pitching staff.

At least there’s no Moose Jawin’ here.

I know Stel rarely posts here these days…

but she does spend a lot of time on “Cleo and Company”,

mostly working behind the scenes.

She collaborates with Nighthawks on animated strips, and produces her own work on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The strip itself is great, too…. it’s all really worth checking out, if you haven’t lately.

Not sure I’d be letting my moose drive it… that is, if I HAD a moose.

 

Not so much his driving…. I mean, we have loads of animal drivers in Ballard County, and a great simian sheriff.

My own car, Elvis, is half dog/ half car, and he does fine.

 

It’s just that it looks like such a well kept vehicle.. and that moose is gonna totally rip up the nice cloth headliner.

If the Highway Patrol comes by he’ll be on the horns of a dilemma.
