On the first G.I.Joe cartoon they made sure you saw everyone bailing out so you were protected from anyone dying. Such things do the opposite of what the anti-action people think.
As a Kid i would have LOVED to have that happen. My big thing as a kid was to make parachutes out of silk or nylon handkerchiefs and shoot them up in the air with a sling shot. Lots of cheap fun. Tried to make paper airplanes to carry them but it never worked. I wonder how Lio did it…hmmm

Reminds me of all the fun I had playing with my parachute men in the back yard many years ago. Simple toys+lots of imagination=genuine joy.
