It’s a terrible thing for a child to experience – especially one whose home life is already dreadful. Threats to adults are also horrible, no matter how much you may disagree with their point of view or presence. I may vociferously dislike Jodie Whittaker as the Doctor (I wish Sue Perkins had the role), but I’d never wish her harm…or even the terrible writers or Chris Chibnall.
