From the timing, I can only imagine we’re taking about Christine Cybelle, who sometimes used Charlotte Russe as a screen name in the late 1960s.
She didn’t seem to be the sort of actor Nancy would be excited to see, though?
Charlotte russe is a pastry, as well as a clothing store founded in San Diego in 1975. (I didn’t know that either.)
