I hardly remember a time my own father taking me to (pre)school… probably because he was a high school teacher at the time.

He’s in denial that his little girl is growing up.

Til I got my license and my car (used) I’d often dawdle about and miss the bus so my dad had to drop me off on his way to work :) It was nice though, we talked about a lot of things!

Enjoy it while you can. Alice! Soon, he’ll have a I-Phone 10 and get into a fender bender & a ticket for distracted driving!

His car is levitating!

When I was in high school, my bus driver would stop in the middle of our bus route and point out rabbits in people’s yards.

You’ll always be Daddy’s little girl, Alice, no matter how old you are!

My mum was a teacher in the high school I attended. She decided it was cheaper to ride the bus than take her car. shudder

Reliving childhood through our children can be a wonderful thing, Alice. I hope you have that opportunity too, someday.

So true. We never really give up out little girls.
