I’m sure they will do it. I don’t even want to think about who the actors will be.
It’s been done, and it’s hilarious and touching at the same time…“Scrooged”, with Bill Murray. Love that movie.
Just because they make it doesn’t mean you have to go see it. Remakes always suck.
I’ve seen the original “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” animated special, I’ve seen the live-action version with Jim Carrey as the titular character, but not yet the Benedict Cumberpatch 3D-animated version.
One episode of PEARLS BEFORE SWINE had Rat’s version of the movie: “Every time a bell rings, a pig gets bopped.”
They actually did it already, back in 1977, as a made for TV movie… there’s a reason nobody remembers it!
With Chazz on this one…….
It’s been done, and while it won a couple of Emmys it was otherwise forgettable.

“It Happened One Christmas”, 1977 TV movie starring Marlo Thomas in the lead role and Cloris Leachman as Clara the Angel Second Class.
Ahhh, that explains a lot. I suppose Chaz was bingeing on Battle Star Galactic and Ghost Busters. Mr. Hollywood, ‘you gotta a lotta ’splaining to do.’
I’m sure there’s some Christmassy drivel on Hallmark they can watch.
Monica Crowley on Fox News once complained about the unfair treatment of poor, misunderstood Mr. Potter.
Quoth the Skipper: GILLIGAN!!
Shut up, Gilligan.
I was just talking to a mate about this today.. Im sure some fresh-faced studio exec pitches it every year… and thats the last thing they ever do..
Why do they always remake good movies? The remake is sure to be worse.
Why not remake some bad movies and turn them into good ones?
