    @Number Three In today’s strip Mr Andrew Capp’s goose has gotten cooked , being honest has resulted in his honesty ended with Andy getting a job :o) am I right?, my avatar today is of our sitting room which we only use when someone important comes to visit , how was your day? ours has been hectic with a lot of errands in the morning , , drawing money from the ATM at our bank and going to the post office to pay our electricity+water bill and our internet service provider’s , the rest of the day should also be busy normally , take care pal BCNU

    So he takes the job and then gets fired after an hour or two so he can keep on the dole. I imagine if he turned down the job offer, he’d lose it.

    This was in my morning newsfeed from the BBC:

    https://www.bbc.com/news/av/uk-46627877/struggling-with-universal-credit-in-hartlepool

    3:14 video [which I hate], but some text on the side explains: Universal credit was designed to simplify the benefits system, but its introduction has seen some people worse off, and some have had difficulty claiming their money.

    Hartlepool is home to some of those who have faced the most difficulties with the new system.

    Not in a good mood today. Windy days always make me jittery.

    @Afficionado

    You are right indeed!

    What kind of important visitors do you get? I’m assuming you mean family members who you don’t see very often.

    Today was my last day of volunteering for the Christmas holidays. I’m back there on 10th January.

    My Auntie sent me £10 in a Christmas card today. She really didn’t have to but it was a pleasant surprise.

    Not my favorite write comic because Andy is an alcoholic; however, in this one, he better take the job or hopefully his wife will kick him out. It is overdue.
