Cooking is Serious Business, and no distractions must be allowed to enter the cook’s mind.
Just the opposite in my household. My husband loves to cook. I do the cleanup. I have about 2 or 3 dishes that I’ll make when he doesn’t feel like cooking.
He notices that a watch pot does boil.
