I don’t get it. I was thinking in RFID tags that people place in things so they don’t get stolen, but who would put that on a chicken

An old time wall phone in the back, not a cell phone. Recall the Herman strips originally ran from 1975 to 1992.

He wasn’t trying to steal it. He simply misinterpreted the sign that said “free range chicken.”

Back away, back away slowly. He’ll never suspect.

So it really had nothing to do with “wringiing” (chicken necks?)

Now that’s fowl.
