Was I the only did who didn’t try to find presents ahead of time?? Or, as far as I know, were my brothers and I? I wanted to be surprised on Christmas morning- I didn’t want to know before.
My little brother did that one year. He found them and unwrapped them all. Christmas morning we were told that those presents were for Toys for Tots. My brother did get something special, he got his fingers broken. I was not punished too harshly because I was elsewhere and did not participate in the search and unwrapping.
