My daughter is currently in the same frame of mind. 2 boys, 5 and 8.
and you KNOW that more break will arrive too.
I say that she gets herself a pop gun and joins the battle.
my mom use to mutter – Christmas vacation will be over soon. my, how times change. course I don’t how many other moms of that era said the same thing. maybe it was just my brother and I that made that reaction happen.
“And mom and dad can hardly wait for school to start again…..”
Winter break has been over since Wednesday for mine. Of course one snow storm already cost them 4+ days in December.
A parent’s relief is the knowledge that they will grow up, have children, and then it’s their turn…
