She called him “Charles Brown” in panel 2…how cold and unfeeling! :D

If my nose was that close to a plate of fudge, I’d think I’d know it was the real thing!

I bet that it really was mud and Violet said that it was fudge just to make Charlie feel bad.

I’m just certain the little girl spent hours in the kitchen making real fudge to take to dear old Charlie Brown!

After all the times of “I’ll hold the ball & you kick it” CB can hardly be faulted for being suspicious.

Can’t blame him. Violet’s “cooking” has been a bit on the watered down earthy side up to now. I was expecting it to be drying mud myself.

Who else knows what I’m talking about? You know where most of the water is gone and the mud is almost back to solid dirt. Yet there’s still just enough moisture to it that if you step in it you’ll just leave a print.

Now I want to make fudge. The part you clean out of the pan with the spoon is the very best.

Don’t be so quick to judge, Charlie Brown. lol
