The first two panels remind me of a bumper sticker I once saw: “I’m having a great day; watch some ******* come along and ruin it!”

Same thing happens in the political arena, sometimes…

so the peanut gang is playing ‘grown-up’ – Lucy is a supposed political journalist and/or social media CEO – she has learned how to twist and hype a situation with words and NO FACTS and Charlie represents the hated person (or person’s point of view) and is going to be the victim. and Patty will be the general public doing their tweeter/faceplant response of our culture to the false/twisted information given out by the political “journalists” and social media gurus! Who knew Shulz was such a great social prophet???

Good grief!

I must say, even though I was not ever a true Lucy fan, I do think she is funnier and much more bearable in her older years than here. Lucy is crabby, bossy, selfish, a brat, but I actually enjoy her later moments than her older ones. I think in these early strips, she is just too much.

What a pill!!

Are these the true colors from the original strip? Lucy’s usual dress used to be yellow and CB’s zigzag shirt was red?
