In the ‘50s I was selling newspapers to people in cafe’s and campgrounds (loved it when the Wally Byam caravans came to town with 200+ trailers!) and door to door at motels. I had to wonder why people would be in bed in the middle of the afternoon and why they were so angry when they came to the door, but then I was only 8.
Charlie Brown’s tote bag has 10 cents printed on it and some weeks back there were some strips that referred to what we always called comic books as comic magazines. Perhaps those are what the budding entrepreneur is selling.

Better earn as much as you can from her, CB, before she takes it all back in five-cent installments!
