It’s actually Mecha-Godzilla on his day off.

Many years ago, there was a PSA about a guy who showed off his newly constructed gym set to his neighbor. The neighbor quickly pointed out the various ways the guy’s kids could get themselves injured or killed, and advised his friend to take it down and start over. “But I just built it,” the guy protested, whereupon it fell apart.

Aw, Lucy, it’s just as scared of you as you are of it!!

I remember reading this as a kid and thinking: “where can we get one like this?”

We had a metal set with three swings and a slide.

Sounds like some of todays gym sets/home playgrounds.

Second day in a row Peanuts Begins makes me laugh out loud.

Haven’t heard it called a “teeter-totter” in a long time! That’s what we used to call it when we were kids.
